In a release yesterday, the Jamaica Constabulary Force said the 48-hour curfews that were imposed in sections of Williamsfield and Porus on Saturday, have been extended for another 48-hour.
Sections of Christiana are also under curfew.
The measures took effect at 6:00 last evening and will remain in effect until 6:00 P.M. tomorrow.
The curfew in Christiana covers Craighead, Silent Hill and the Troy border.
For Porus, the boundaries are Melrose District, the Porus Main Road, Barnett Street, Redberry District, Broadleaf and the toll road.
Meanwhile in the Williamsfield area, the curfew covers Royal Flat, Bartley Town, Hillside and Rent-Land-Street.
During the curfew, persons within the boundaries should remain indoors unless permitted by the ground commander to leave.
