Several charges have been laid against a taxi operator who was captured on a now viral video acting in a violent manner towards another motorist.

He is 37-year-old Peter Bramwell.

Bramwell was charged with disorderly conduct, malicious destruction of property, and assault occasioning bodily harm.

According to lawmen, on Friday April 26, Bramwell who was involved in a crash with the other motorist, in Half Way Tree, became enraged and reportedly attacked the other road user.

Head of the Constabulary Force’s Public Safety and Traffic Enforcement Branch, (PSTEB), Assistant Commissioner of Police Gary McKenzie said Bramwell was operating a taxi illegally.

He noted that Bramwell has a record of traffic breaches.

ACP McKenzie is reminding road users that they should allow due process to prevail after a traffic accident.
