Seven people were shot, three fatally at a Nine-Night event in Mandela Terrace, in St. Andrew South last evening.

The deceased are 32-year-old Derrick Goodgame, 23-year-old Kimberley Plummer and an unidentified man.

Police say at around 8:05 PM, the group was gathered at the event when a car drove up.

Armed men who alighted from the vehicle, opened fire, hitting seven people.

The wounded were taken to hospital, where Goodgame, Plummer and the unidentified man were pronounced dead.
