Sentencing of Danielle Rowe’s killer postponed until next month
The sentencing for dental assistant Kayodi Satchell, who pleaded guilty to the fatal stabbing of eight-year-old Danielle Rowe, was today postponed to December 2.
The new date was set when Satchell appeared in the Home Circuit Court.
Sentencing was delayed because the court was informed that the medical report in the case was not available.
Danielle was taken from the Braeton Primary and Infant School on June 8 of last year.
She was later seen wandering in Eastern Kingston with her throat slashed.
Passers-by rushed her to the Bustamante Hospital for Children, where she died two days later.
Following investigations, Satchell was arrested and charged with murder in August of last year.
It was reported that Satchell was involved in a relationship with Rowe’s father.
She pleaded guilty to the gruesome murder in September.
