A section of the Welcome to Cacoon Castle roadway, in the vicinity of the Quarry community in Hanover, will be closed temporarily to vehicular traffic, effective today. 

The closure will remain in effect for 14 days. 

The National Works Agency (NWA) said the closure will only affect motorists traveling to areas beyond the Quarry community. 

The roadway is being closed to facilitate the widening of a section of the corridor. 

This involves significant excavation of the embankment. 

During the period of closure, motorists may travel via Hopewell and Old Pen.
