Second man charged in relation to mass shooting in St. Catherine
A second man has been charged in relation to a shooting incident in Point Hill, St. Catherine, which left one person dead and others wounded.
He is 20 year old bus conductor Javaughn Dyer, otherwise called JT.
Head of the St. Catherine north police, Superintendent Hopton Nicholson said Dyer faces several charges, including wounding and being part of criminal organisation.
Superintendent Nicholson said police are seeking others listed as persons of interest in this and other cases.
Last month’s mass shooting at the wake for the grandmother of reggae artiste Christopher Martin, resulted in the killing of 35 year old O’Neil Spencer.
Following the incident, 23 year old construction worker Junior Coleman was arrested and charged with several offences including murder.
