Search resumed this morning for St. Andrew man swept away by flood waters; Hurricane related damage reported in Corporate Area
It was a sombre mood in the community of Havana in Arnett Gardens, St. Andrew this morning as the search continued for 26-year-old Alrick Moncriefe who was washed away by flood waters during Hurricane Beryl yesterday.
The former Arnett Gardens under 20 player was reportedly playing football in the community at around 4 PM, when he went to retrieve the ball from a gully, and was caught in the raging waters.
Moncriefe’s aunt, Sylvia Knight told IRIE FM News, that it’s a very sad time for them as hope fades, that he will be found alive.
