Search for Jamaican missing in the US after jumping off bridge halted
The search for a Jamaican man who went missing on Sunday night, after jumping off a bridge in Massachusetts, in the United States of America, has been halted.
The search for 21 year old Tavaughn Bulgin, resumed this morning after being called off yesterday (August 15).
The Massachusetts police were reportedly using side scan sonar to scan the ocean floor, in a bid to find Bulgin.
However, according to the associated press, the search was suspended today, because of hazardous weather conditions.
Tavaughn and his 26 year old brother Tavaris were among four people who jumped from the so-called “Jaws Bridge” on Martha’s vineyard on Sunday.
Tavaris’ body was found yesterday morning.
The incident has left the Palmers Cross community in Clarendon, in shock.
