Search continues for 3 of 5 men who escaped the Barnett Street Police Station Lockup yesterday
The search continues for three of the five men who escaped from the Barnett Street Police Station Lockup in St James yesterday.
One of the men, 42-year-old Edgar Spence, a Labourer of Belinda District, Flower Hill, St James was fatally shot during an alleged confrontation with police yesterday, while Fidel Ferguson, of Mountain View in Greenwood in the parish was recaptured today.
Police say Ferguson was seen in the Spot Valley area of the parish, and residents alerted them.
Upon their arrival, Ferguson was found with a wound to his leg and was taken to the hospital for treatment and is under police guard.
The 3 escapees who remain at large are:
22 year old , Tyrese Brown of Albert town, Trelawny, who was charged with Murder, Rape, and other offences.
23 year old, Daniel Mcintosh, of Peddlars Lane, St. James, who was charged with Possession of a Prohibited Weapon and other crimes and 43 year old, Maurice Belnavis of Norwood, St. James, who was charged with Simple Larceny.
