A myriad of well wishers gathered at the Portmore Seventh day Adventist Church in St. Catherine, today to pay their final respects to Corporal Kamal Mayne. 

Corporal Mayne was gunned down at his home in Old Harbour St. Catherine on Saturday, May 17.

Up to the time of his death he was assigned to the Kingston Western Police Division.

Among those who attended today’s thanksgiving ceremony were his relatives, friends and colleagues from the Jamaica Constabulary Force.

Commanding Officer of the Kingston Western Division Acting Senior Superintendent Brian Henry, delivered the eulogy. 

He noted that Corporal Mayne was committed and punctual.
