Scores of commuters left stranded as Silent Hill residents protest water and bad roads
Scores of commuters including school children were left stranded on Monday morning, as residents blocked sections of the Silent Hill to Top Alston main road, at the Northeast M anchester/ Northwest Clarendon border.
The residents told Irie Fm news that they are frustrated with not having potable water and are suffering from bad road conditions.
Residents claim water is pumped from their community to Christiana and Spalding, yet they have no water.
They are calling on their member of parliament Phillip Henriques to intervene.
Another resident said her two vehicles have been parked due to the need for extensive repairs caused by the bad roads.
