More than 30 people including school children have been taken to hospital following a motor vehicle crash along the Portmore Toll Road, in St. Catherine, this morning. 

The single vehicle crash involving a yellow Toyota coaster bus, happened some time after 7 AM.

Head of the Constabulary’s Public Safety and Traffic Enforcement Branch ( PSTEB) Assistant Commissioner of Police, Gary McKenzie says the bus was heading into Kingston, when it ran off the roadway.

He says investigations are underway to determine the cause of the crash.
