Rytikal Warns Against Unauthorized Releases

Dancehall artiste Rytikal is cautioning producers against releasing unreleased recordings featuring him without authorization from his management.
In a statement shared on Instagram, the artiste urged producers with unreleased material to seek the necessary clearance before making the songs available to the public.
Rytikal also warned against altering or repackaging older recordings by changing their titles or descriptions, or presenting them as something they were not originally intended to be, in an effort to generate hype or attention.
According to the artiste, unauthorized releases will be removed, as he called for greater respect for both the creative work and the artiste involved.
Rytikal’s warning comes as artists continue to navigate issues surrounding unreleased recordings, ownership and how previously recorded material is presented to the public.
