Determine’s son, entertainer Runkus, has announced an event to commemorate his father’s life following his passing.

The event, titled “Celebrating the Life of Rohan Bennett aka Determine,” will take place at Rebel T Headquarters, 52 Dumbarton Avenue, Kingston 10, on Saturday, February 22.

Dancehall veteran Spragga Benz shared the event flyer, urging artists to attend, writing, “Every artist in the island is expected to be at this event honoring the memory of the icon.”

UK producer Jazzwad echoed the call, encouraging artists, producers, selectors, and sound systems to pay their respects to a legend.

Determine, best known for his 1995 hit Kette Drum with Beenie Man, passed away in the United States on February 13 after battling stomach cancer. He was 52 years old.
