National champion Demisha Roswell continued her winning ways as she led a Jamaican 1-2 in the 100 meters hurdles, at the prestigious TIPOS P-T-S Meeting – A World Athletics Continental Tour Silver level event in Slovakia today.

Fresh from her victory in Switzerland on the weekend, Rosewell clocked 12.54 seconds to win the event ahead of former national record holder Britany Anderson who clocked 12.73.

Double double Olympic Champion Elaine Thompson-Herah clocked 11.06 seconds for her second place finish in the 100 meters, behind Australia’s Torrie Lewis who ran a new national record 11.04 seconds.

Former Jamaican sprinter and 2016 Rio Olympic finalist Christania Williams now representing Austria, established a new national record of 11.06 for third.

In the men’s equivalent Ackeem Blake placed second in 10.04 behind Bayanda Walaza who established a nippy 9.89 seconds.

In the 200 meters, Lavanya Williams was the runner up in 23.13 behind Australia’s Torrie Lewis in 22.66.

World Championship bronze medalist Tyler Mason meantime was third in the men’s 110 meters clocking 13.47.
