Road Safety Council says targeting crash hotspots helping to reduce road fatalities
The strategy of targeting crash hotspots across the island has been helping to reduce the number of road fatalities.
Vice-Chairman of the National Road Safety Council, Dr. Lucien Jones says this strategy and others, have led to a significant reduction in the number of private motor vehicle owners and passengers who have died in crashes.
He notes, however, that pedestrians and motorcyclists are still cause for concern.
