Former  West  Indies  captain  Richie  Richardson  and  Leslie  Reifer  of  Barbados  have  been  named  among  the  24  officials  for  the  group  stage  of  the  ICC  Mens  T20  World  Cup  which  gets  underway  next  week.

Richardson  is  among  the  6  match  referees  while  Reifer  is  among  the  24  on-field  umpires for  the  February  7  to  20  stage  of  the  tournament  with  veteran  umpire Rod Tucker  who  leads the list with a record 46 t20 World Cup matches officiated so far. 

The opening match will see Kumar Dharmasena and debutant Wayne Knights officiate the Pakistan versus the Netherlands clash in Colombo. 

The officials for the Super Eight and knockout phases will be confirmed at a later date.
