Retired DCP Fitz Bailey appointed Acting Commissioner of Turks and Caicos Police Force
Retired Deputy Commissioner of Police Fitz Bailey has been appointed Acting Commissioner of the Turks and Caicos police force.
A statement issued by the Turks and Caicos police force noted that Bailey was appointed on November 22 last year.
Mr. Bailey retired from the Jamaica Constabulary Force last year after serving some 40 years.
He retired a day before his 60th birthday in September.
The age of retirement in the Turks and Caicos is 65 years.
The Turks and Caicos police force said Mr. Bailey has a wealth of knowledge and experience in crime prevention, investigation, tackling gang violence and public safety.
