Scores of commuters were this morning left stranded after roadblocks were mounted by residents of the dump and surrounding communities in Manchester northeastern.

The placard bearing residents who were protesting poor road conditions and a lack of water, said they feel neglected by their political representatives.

Taxi operator Dane Johnson told IRIE FM News that the deplorable road conditions are of great concern.

Meanwhile, another resident Odane Robinson said the lack of access to potable water supply is unbearable.
