Residents resumed their search this morning for the 11-year-old boy who was swept out to sea in Whitehouse, Westmoreland on Monday.
The New Hope Primary student was making his way home after school at about 2:30 p.m., when he fell in a gutter, and was washed away.
Several search operations were conducted since, but the boy has not been found.
Member of Parliament for Westmoreland Eastern, Danielle Lawrence told IRIE FM News today that coast guards have called off their search, but residents continue to look for the young boy.
