Reggae Visa Lawyer speaks on Popcaan & Squash’s US issues
Reggae Visa Lawyer Bridgette Bennett has weighed in on Popcaan’s lack of a U.S. visa and Squash’s current immigration status and pending weapons-related charge.
During her Road to Success interview with Kshema Francis on the Easy Skankin show on Thursday, Bennett revealed that despite her attempts to reach out to Popcaan, he has yet to respond.
As for Squash, who remains in a U.S. jail after being detained by ICE, Bennett believes he might have a chance.
Squash is set to appear in court on April 2 for an arraignment.
Bridgette Bennett has helped Dancehall heavyweights Bounty Killer and Beenie Man regain their U.S. visas after years of restrictions. She has also worked with Minister Marion Hall (formerly Lady Saw), sound systems, and reggae bands.
