“Nothing is gonna stop us,” declares Reggae Sumfest boss Josef Bogdanovich as preparations for the week-long festival press forward.

In an exclusive with Music News today (July 8), Bogdanovich assures festival enthusiasts that everything is set for this weekend.

The CEO of Downsound Entertainment also discussed his charity Caribbean Love Now and their upcoming initiatives.

Reggae Sumfest kicks off on Sunday with the Sumfest Family Fun Day, followed by the Sumfest Street Dance on the 15th, the Sumfest All White on the 16th, and the Sumfest Global Sound Clash on the 17th. On Thursday, July 18, it’s all about Sumfest Rumfest Blitz featuring Beenie Man.

Night 1 of Reggae Sumfest on the 19th promises live performances by Capleton, Aidonia, Dexta Daps, Valiant, YG Marley, Teejay, Jada Kingdom, 450, Kraff, Pablo YG, Turbulence, Munga Honorable, Marcy Chin, Kaka High Flames, Malie Donn, and J’Quan.

The festival concludes on Saturday, July 20, with live performances from Babyface, Beres Hammond, Luciano, Anthony B, D’Yani, Ras I, Norris Man, Nigy Boy, Sevana, Christopher Ellis, and others.
