Reggae singer Sevana stars in new independent feature film-Threads of Us
Threads of Us a new independent feature film, featuring reggae singer Sevana has officially wrapped production.
Penned by Donisha Prendergast, the granddaughter of reggae legends Bob and Rita Marley, Threads of Us tells the emotional love story of Danielle, a seamstress brought to life by Sevana, and Malcolm a factory worker played by Shomari Downer and their quiet love being put to the test when Malcolm is wrongfully accused of a crime.
Directed by Mykal Cushnie and produced by a team of Caribbean production houses, the film’s soundtrack features several Grammy-winning reggae artistes and boasts a stellar Caribbean cast, including Koffee’s mother Jo-Anne Williams, Simon “Vision” Alexander, and renowned actor, Owen “Blakka” Ellis.
