Reggae legend Big Yute supported his son, Isat Buchanan, at a candidate presentation in East Portland on Sunday. 

People’s National Party (PNP) president Mark Golding officially introduced attorney-at-law Isat Buchanan to party supporters. Sounds of vuvuzelas and cheers filled the air as Big Yute, using his signature toasting style, introduced his son.

In related news, Vybz Kartel, who initially supported Isat Buchanan, is clarifying his stance. In a video posted on Instagram, he stated that his allegiance is to the Jamaican people.

As the PNP’s caretaker for the constituency, Isat Buchanan is preparing to challenge the Jamaica Labour Party’s current Member of Parliament, Ann Marie Vaz.
