Khadijah Shaw nominated for 2022/2023 PFA Player’s Player of the Year Award
Reggae girlz striker Khadija ‘bunny’ Shaw has been nominated for the 2022/2023 PFA Players’ Player of the year award.
Shaw, who plays for Manchester City in England, was placed on a six-person short-list after a sensational Sophomore season where she netted a staggering 31 goals in 30 games in all competitions while also tallying 9 assists.
This includes 20 in 22 matches in the Barclays Women’s Super League where she finished second in the Golden Boot race while breaking the club record for most goals in a single season.
The 26 year old also hit the back of the net twice in as many UEFA Women’s Champions League matches, two in 2 Continental Cup fixtures and a fantastic seven in three FA Cup appearances.
