Reggae Girlz squad to be revealed ahead of World Cup Qualifiers

The Reggae Girlz squad for the upcoming World Cup qualifier against Dominica will be unveiled on Monday (November 24, 2025) during a virtual press conference hosted by head coach Hubert Busby, beginning at 11:00 a.m.

Jamaica’s senior women’s team is seeking a return to the global stage as they begin their campaign to qualify for the 2027 FIFA Women’s World Cup. Their opening assignment will be against Dominica on Saturday, November 29, at the Darren Sammy Cricket Stadium in St. Lucia.

The Reggae Girlz will then travel to Managua to face Nicaragua on March 2, 2026, before playing back-to-back fixtures on home soil — hosting Antigua and Barbuda on April 10, followed by Guyana on April 18.

The winner of the group will advance to the 2026 Concacaf W Championship, scheduled for November of that year. That tournament will feature a single-elimination format, consisting of quarter-finals, play-ins between the quarter-final losers, semi-finals, a third-place playoff, and the final.

A total of four teams from the Concacaf W Championship will secure berths at the 2027 FIFA Women’s World Cup in Brazil, while another two nations will move on to the inter-confederation playoffs for a final chance at qualification.

Additionally, two teams from the Championship will earn places at the 2028 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles.
