Reggae Boyz moves up two places on FIFA/Coca Cola World Rankings
Jamaica’s Reggae Boyz have moved up two places from the previous edition to number 55 on the latest release of the FIFA Coca Cola World Rankings.
It comes after the team secured a third place finish at the recent Concacaf Nations League.
The upward move sees the reggae boyz holding firm as the number one team in the caribbean and number 6 in Concacaf overall after the United States who moved up 2 spots to 11, Mexico 14, Panama 45, Canada 49 and Costa Rica 52.
El Salvador 81, Honduras 82, Curacao 91, Trinidad and Tobago 98 are the other Concacaf teams inside the top 100.
The FIFA rankings meanwhile, continues to be led by reigning World Champions Argentina ahead of former two-time winners France with Belgium back inside the top 3, followed by England and Brazil.
The rest of the top 10 is completed by Portugal, Netherlands, Spain, Italy and Croatia.
2022 World Cup semi-finalists Morocco at 13 are the highest ranked African team while Indonesia who jumped 8 places to 134 were the biggest movers.
The next edition of the FIFA/Coca-Cola Men’s world ranking will be published on June 20.
