Reggae Boy’z miserable run at Concacaf under 20 Championships ends with 3 nil defeat to Cuba
Jamaica’s young Reggae Boy’z miserable run at the Concacaf under 20 Championships in Mexico ended with a 3 nil defeat to Cuba in their final group A’ game today at Estadio León.
The match was pushed back by a day after regional governing body Concacaf announced changes to the match schedule and venues following a security incident where a police officer was murdered outside the Cuban team hotel in the Mexican city of Celaya .
The Jamaicans ended at the foot of the standings without a point after suffering losses to the USA and Costa Rica respectively.
The top two finishers in each of the three groups along with the two best third-place teams will advance to the quarter-finals.
