Reggae Boyz drop six spots on latest FIFA Rankings

Jamaica has dropped a whopping six places to number 59 on the FIFA World Rankings following a disappointing showing at the recent Copa America in the United States.

The Reggae Boys, despite sliding, remain the top ranked Caribbean team and sixth in Concacaf overall behind the United States who slipped 5 places to 16 and Mexico who fell 2 spots to 17.

Panama and Copa America semi-finalists Canada were the biggest movers in the region each team moving 8 places to no.35 and no.40 respectively with Costa Rica the fifth highest ranked country after moving up 3 spots to 49.

In the meantime world champions Argentina, having successfully defended their Copa América crown, tightened their hold on the number one ranking.

Beaten World Cup finalists France remains second with newly crowned European champions Spain moving up five places to third.

Completing the top 5 are beaten Euro 2024 finalists England and South American giants Brazil.

The rest of the top 10 includes Belgium, Netherlands, Portugal, Colombia and Italy.
