The local members of Jamaica’s Reggae Boyz squad are returning home this afternoon after booking their place in the quarter-finals of the Concacaf Nations League with a 1-all draw with Honduras in Tegucigalpa.

They are scheduled to land at 1:55 at the Norman Manley International Airport.

Jamaica, needing a point at the start of the game last night, went in front in the 27th minute, courtesy of Tyrese Campbell, however his was cancelled out by Luis Palma with a thunderous strike from outside the box in the 51st minute.

Jamaica, with the result, ended second in the group with seven points, as Guatemala topped Group B with seven points as well, but with a better goal difference.

Coach Rudolph Speid acknowledged that the team achieved what they had set out to do.

The Reggae Boyz will now turn their attention to facing Mexico in the quarter-finals in a home-and-away affair, while Canada face Guatemala, Curaçao go up against Panama, and the USA meet Haiti.

Earlier last night, Martinique and El Salvador played to a 1-all draw, while a second-half injury-time effort landed Guatemala a 1-nil triumph over Suriname.
