Reggae boy Leon Bailey has been voted as Aston Villa’s -player of the match against Burnely.

He was most recently in action on Saturday where he scored the opener in villa’s 3-2 win over Burnley and was also instrumental in the midlands club recording victories over Manchester City and Arsenal.

Villa meanwhile ended 2023 in second spot, level on points with Liverpool who beat Newcastle 4-2 yesterday to go to the summit on 45 points.

They return to action in an f.a cup showdown against Middlesbrough on January 6 before Everton in the Premier League on the 14th.
