Reggae Boy head coach Heimir Hallgrimson will be back in the island tomorrow
Irie Fm sports has learnt that Reggae Boy head coach Heimir Hallgrimson will be back in the island tomorrow, to continue his duties with the national team.
It is understood that he will return with other members of his backroom staff which includes assistant Coach John Wall from Sweden, Icelander Guomundur Hreidarsson, who replaced Warren Barrett as national goal-keeping coach and fitness Coach Sebastian Box-leitner.
When Hallgrimsson returns, the first order of business in the new year is to meet with the JFF Technical Committee headed by Chairman Rudoplh Spied.
In his first game in charge of the Reggae Boys last year, the team lost 3-nil to Argentina in September, before playing to a one all draw against Cameroon in a friendly International in November.
Meanwhile, the new Reggae Boy head coach who replaced Paul Hall, will be attending several games in the Jamaica Premier League starting with match day 10 this Sunday, along with John Wall whose portfolio responsibilities includes talent identification along with the grass roots and development programme.
