Reggae Boy Dujan “Whisper” Richards offcially part ways with Craig Butler

Reggae Boy Dujan “Whisper” Richards has declared that his long-time agent and coach, Craig Butler, no longer represents him.
In a letter sent to the Jamaica Football Federation and signed by Richards himself, it says, quote: “I hereby formally notify the Jamaica Football Federation (JFF) of a change in my official representation and contact details.” End of quote.
The letter further quoted Richards, who is now on loan at AFC Wimbledon, as saying, quote: “Effective immediately, Mr. Craig Butler and Phoenix Sports Management and Football Academy no longer represent me in any capacity.” End of quote.
He added that, accordingly, the JFF and all affiliated bodies are requested to cease all official correspondence, communications, and notifications regarding his player status, national team eligibility, or related matters to Mr. Craig Butler, Phoenix Sports Management & Football Academy, or any associated entity or party.
Whisper, in the second point of instruction, also directed the JFF, quote: “To remove Mr. Craig Butler and Phoenix Sports Management and Football Academy from all records as my agent, representative, or point of contact.” End of quote.
In the third instruction, Richards directed all future official communications exclusively to his newly appointed representative, his father, Odile Richards, of Riches and Royalty Sports Management.
The Reggae Boy Richards closed by saying, quote: “I kindly request that this change be reflected in all JFF records, including those shared with FIFA, CONCACAF, and other relevant football governing bodies, and please confirm in writing once this update has been processed.” End of quote.
Richards, who joined the Kingston-based, Craig Butler-led Phoenix Academy at age 11, was a star striker for Kingston College, scoring 29 goals and providing 19 assists in their 2022 Manning Cup campaign.
He left the Craig Butler-led Phoenix All Stars Football Academy when he turned 18 and completed his transfer to English Premier League club Chelsea in January 2024.
