Reggae Boy Andre  Brooks’ arrival  has already injected excitement at English Championship club Norwich City  and his team mate  Uairi  Mcconville  believes  it  is now  up to the players to help maximise his impact.

The Jamaican international’s big-money move  from Sheffield United  raised  eyebrows   across  the Championship back in June, when the  22-year-old versatile  winger transferred  from Sheffield United for an initial 8 million pound fee. 

Brooks’ direct running, quick feet and sheer pace  have caught  the attention of   his new colleagues.

Norwich’s interest for the Jamaican was driven by a desire to lift the quality within the group   and while it remains  early days, the  22-year-old  has already made  a  positive, bright first impression as explained by coach Phillip Clement. 

The 2026/27 championship season kicks off  on Friday August 14, with Wolves up against Blackburn Rovers

Brooks  made his international debut in March 2026, appearing  as  a  second-half substitute in  the  FIFA World Cup Interconfed  Playoff  victory against New Caledonia.
