A raft operator was shot and killed in Exchange, Ocho Rios St. Ann, last evening.

Dead is 38-year-old Troy Cooper, otherwise called ‘Slaughter’ of Prosper Hall, exchange.

Police report that about 8:20 P.M, Cooper was having drinks with friends at bar in his community, when a gunman entered, opened gunfire at him and escaped.

Police were alerted and Cooper was seen with gunshot wounds to the head.

He was taken to hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
