Quality service rules will be put in place for telecommunication companies before the end of this fiscal year.

That’s according to Telecommunications Minister Daryl Vaz.

Speaking at Wednesday‘s post cabinet press briefing Mr. Vaz said quality of service with telecomms providers is a big issue, with complaints being received from customers daily.

Mr. Vaz said the quality service rules will seek to address the issues highlighted by customers, by setting compliance targets.
