Quadruple fatal crash in Braco Trelawny pushes this month’s road deaths to eight
The number of people killed in road crashes so far this month has increased to eight.
This following the deaths of four people along the Braco main road in Trelawny this morning.
The police have not released the identities of the deceased.
According to reports, the crash involved a Toyota Probox motorcar which was being operated as a taxi and a tractor trailer.
The motorcar reportedly collided into the rear of the trailer.
The deceased were occupants of the motorcar.
Vice Chairman of the National Road Safety Council, Dr. Lucien Jones described the crash as horrendous.
He said in the first four days of August, eight people have been killed in road crashes.
