Public meeting of Constitutional Reform Committee to be held at Sam Sharpe Square in Montego Bay, St James this evening
A public meeting of the Constitutional Reform Committee is slated to be held at Sam Sharpe Square in Montego Bay, St James this evening (April 26).
This is one, in a series of public meetings to be held across the island, as Jamaica prepares to become a Republic.
Information Minister, Robert Morgan who was speaking at Jamaica House this morning, sought to dispel the notion that the Government is not allowing the public to be a part of a fulsome discussion on reform.
Pointing to today’s public meeting, Mr Morgan said the aim is to engage the public on the process.
