There will be traffic changes for the hosting of the annual Fireworks Festival on the Waterfront in Downtown, Kingston tonight.

The Urban Development Corporation is hosting the event.

At 4:00 P.M., the Port Royal Street, Church Street, Peter’s Lane, Orange Street, Princess Street, West Street, Ocean Boulevard and Pechon Street intersections will be closed.

King Street will be partially closed to accommodate the ROK Hotel.

Two-way traffic will be permitted along certain intersections to only facilitate entrance and exit to and from parking areas.

These are from:

1. the intersection of Church Street and Port Royal Street to the JCC multi-storey car park
2. The intersection of Orange Street and Port Royal Street to Orange Street multi-storey car park
3. The intersection of Princess Street and Port Royal Street to the Digicel car park
4. the intersection of West Street and Port Royal Street to the West Street car park

Vehicles will be allowed to turn from both King Street and Church Street to access the Temple Lane multi-storey car park.
