PSOJ wants private sector & gov’t agencies to pool efforts to tackle corruption
President of the Private Sector Organization of Jamaica, Metry Seaga, is calling for government agencies and business operators to pool their efforts in the fight against crime and corruption.
This in a bid to help to boost ethical leadership and to rid the private sector of persons who are involved in criminal activity.
Responding to a question on addressing corruption, Mr Seaga said Stakeholders must first recognize that there is a problem and take the necessary steps to address it.
Mr. Seaga said excessive bureaucracy in the system contributes to corruption.
