A probe has been launched by the Head of the Falmouth Regional Hospital in Trelawny after several ancillary workers did not show up for work yesterday.

This led to patients having to wait longer than usual for breakfast.

IRIE FM News understands that up to 10:45 yesterday morning patients had not been fed by the hospital.

Speaking to IRIE FM News, Chief Executive Officer of the hospital Carlington McLennon said the matter is being investigated.

He said normal operations resumed after other workers were called in.
