Probe continues into incident which left 2 dead and 3 wounded in Manchester
Police in Manchester are investigating the fatal shooting of two women and the wounding of three others at a candlelight vigil in Nashville this morning.
The deceased are 35-year-old Aldeen Dixon of Coleyville and 42-year-old Stacy-Ann Musgrave of Barnstable District, both from Manchester.
Reports indicate that an altercation occurred before 2:00 A.M. at the vigil, during which five people were shot.
They were taken to the hospital, where Dixon and Musgrave were pronounced dead.
Deputy Superintendent Carey Duncan, Head of the Manchester Police confirmed that a licensed firearm holder is in custody in connection with the incident.
Member of Parliament for Manchester Central, Rhoda Moy Crawford described the incident as “sad and unfortunate.”
