Priorities will have to be set as Government responds to Jamaica’s needs following the passage of Hurricane Beryl -PM Holness
Prime Minister Andrew Holness says priorities will have to be set as the Government responds to the needs of the country following the passage of Hurricane Beryl.
He was speaking on a tour of the island yesterday.
Mr Holness said while he anticipates that there will be several needs, some will take precedence due to limited resources.
In the meantime, Mr Holness said while assistance is provided it will be done in an accountable manner.
He said while this is an emergency, he must ensure that his Government is not accused of corruption.
