Prime Minister Andrew Holness says the Government intends to take several steps to improve peace amongst citizens.

He gave the commitment during his Christmas message.

According to the Prime Minister, among the steps to be taken are the mobilization of more resources around social and human services, and more mental health support.

He said while the Government will play its part, citizens can make a contribution by being kind to others.
