Effective Wednesday, the cost of fertilizer, supplied by Newport Fersan will see a 22 percent reduction.

This was announced by Agriculture Minister Pearnel Charles Jnr, while making his contribution to the sectoral debate in parliament on Tuesday.

He added that the ministry will provide planting material to farmers.
