President of Trinidad and Tobago Netball Association Sherry-Ann Blackburn coming to Jamaica

The President of the Trinidad and Tobago Netball Association Sherry-Ann Blackburn will head the second batch of her country’s delegation coming into the island later today, for the under 16 and under 18 Netball series starting tomorrow at the Leila Robinson Courts. 

Blackburn will be among a contingent of 35, which includes the rest of the Trinidadian players, following the arrival of the first batch yesterday. 

The visitors will face Jamaica’s under 16 sunshine girls in a two match series and national high school champions denbigh in a two match engagement in the under 18 division. 

The Jamaican squad meanwhile, is comprised of defenders : Shelly Kentish, Sashane Smith and Denesia Laing.

The centre court make up features Shamwua Hall, Jody-Ann Flemmings, Brianya Allen, Natasha Pringle, Reniecia Jones and Jada Campbell, while the shooters are Kaelyn-Keandra Smith, Kheresha Peccoo, Syranna Brown and Kalee Martin.

The opening ceremony is set for tomorrow at 5:30 pm after which the under 18 Calypso girls will face Denbigh in the opening game at 6.

The under 16 match-up between both countries is scheduled to start at 7:15
