The Portmore Resilience Park in St. Catherine is among projects to be completed during the 2025/2026 Parliamentary year.

Custos of Kingston Steadman Fuller, made the announcement this morning, while delivering the Throne Speech on behalf of Governor General Sir Patrick Allen, during the ceremonial opening of Parliament.

The Portmore Resilience Park Project is being undertaken by the government on 26 acres of land, at a cost of 4.4 billion dollars. 

The park will serve as a hub for recreation, sports, wellness and entertainment.
