The Port Antonio Tax Office is closed for business today.

Tax Administration Jamaica said the closure has become necessary as it takes the necessary steps to install air conditioner units, to address air condition challenges, which have been significantly impacting customer service delivery at the location.

During the period of closure, persons are being advised to visit the Buff Bay or Port Maria Tax Offices to conduct their usual transactions.

TAJ also noted that several transactions such as filing, payment, and property tax querying may be conducted using its tax portal at www.jamaicatax.gov.jm.e

It apologized for any inconvenience caused while noting that its service provider works assiduously to restore full service in the shortest possible time.
