Police yet to determine motive behind burning of man and toddler in Spanish Town
The police are yet to determine the motive behind Friday morning’s fire bombing of a house in Spanish Town, St Catherine which resulted in a man and a toddler being burnt to death.
The deceased have been identified as: Javon Parson and 2 year old Aaliyah Gilzene.
It’s reported that some time before 4 a.m., gunmen shot up and fire bombed the dwelling where a woman, her common law husband and her child were staying.
The woman narrowly escaped.
Head of the St Catherine north police Senior Superintendent Howard Chambers, said the men invaded the home, after posing as police officers.
He said the man appeared to have been the target of the attack.
Superintendent chambers said they are investigating, if the incident was gang related.
