Police to use all resources to bring perpetrators of Westmoreland quadruple killing to justice
The Westmoreland Police have assured that all resources will be utilized to bring the perpetrators of last night’s quadruple killing in New Road, Bethel Town, Westmoreland to justice.
41 year-old tiler, Damion Baker, Odane Scott, otherwise called ‘Moses’, Rocky Lawrence and alleged gunman Ashade Spence, otherwise called “Future” were shot dead during the incident.
Reports are that at about 10:20 p.m., patrons were at an illegal party at a bar when Spence and his cronies alighted from a black Fielder motor car and opened fire at the crowd.
8 people including Spence, were hit.
They were taken to the hospital where Baker, Lawrence, Scott, and Spence were pronounced dead.
The other four persons are being treated.
Head of the Westmoreland Police, Superintendent Othniel Dobson, said a quantity of ammunition was found in Spence’s pocket.
He said an illegal firearm was taken from the scene.
Superintendent Dobson is urging the individuals who removed the weapon from the scene to turn it over to lawmen.
Describing the act as a devastating one, Superintendent Dobson said the incident is being investigated.
